VVT Medical’s leadership team brings together years of experience in management, R&D, product development, engineering and medical regulatory expertise across the medical device, high tech, biotech, healthcare and medical imaging industries.

EREZ TETRO

Chief Executive Officer, Director

Erez is an experienced executive with over 20 years working in the healthcare industry, Erez performed a variety of management positions with increasing responsibilities. Prior to VVT Medical, Erez held positions in startups and J&J’s Ethicon division specializing in surgical technologies and solutions. Erez’s academic background is in business and project management

ORLY EFRATY

Vice President of Global Marketing

Orly has over 15 years of Marketing experience working in the Medical Device industry, both in large corporates, such as Johnson & Johnson and Teva Pharmaceuticals and in start-up. Orly has a proven track record in Corporate strategy, Marketing and Product management. Orly holds a BSc. in Biology and Life Science from Tel-Aviv university and an MBA from Bar-Ilan university.

LIRON TAYEB

R&D Director

Liron is an experienced R&D leader with over 10 years of experience in Medical Device development in the area of vascular devices. Prior to VVT Medical, Liron served as a CEO/VP R&D at Hyblate Medical and as an R&D Project Manager at Edwards Lifesciences Israel innovation center, responsible for product development from initiation, through feasibility testing, prototyping, pre-clinical trials and DV-testing until commercialization. Liron holds a BSc. in Biomedical Engineering from the Technion and an MBA from Ariel university, and graduated with honors.

PAZIT WAKS

Vice President of QA/RA

Pazit has managerial experience of over 20 years, with a proven track record of building and managing effective QA, QC, and RA systems and teams in the Medical Device and Pharmaceutical industries both from global companies and start-ups. Her experience includes implementation of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) according to FDA’s Quality System Regulations and ISO 13485, submission of medical devices to FDA, notified bodies in Europe, Brazil, and many other registries. Pazit holds a B.Sc. in Biotechnology and Food Engineering and an M.Sc. in Quality Assurance and Reliability, both from the Technion, Haifa.

GIDI VITKON

Chief of Operations

Gidi has over 30 years of managerial experience, holding a wide range of senior operation positions in hi-tech start-ups as well as leading global companies such as Rad-Binat Group and Alvarion. Gidi brings special expertise in the design, planning and execution of research-based technical projects. Gidi holds a B.SC and MBA from Tel Aviv University.

DOR SNEH

CFO

Dor has 10 years of senior management experience in Finance. Before joining VVT Medical, Dor served as a Corporate Controller and Group CFO at Water Ways Technologies (TSXV:WWT), where he led the company through its first years in the Canadian stock exchange. Dor has overseen complex deals, such as M&A, Due Diligence and several private placements. Dor holds a BA in Economics and Accounting from Haifa University.

ROTEM BEECHAM

Customer Success Director

Rotem brings more than 7 years of experience in business development, project management and team leading in various entrepreneurship start ups, plant science technologies and defense systems. Rotem holds a BSc in Life Sciences and Business Management from Ben Gurion University.

GREGORY GELMAN

R&D Engineer

Gregory holds an MA at Mechanical Engineering. Gregory has a 25 year experience in the Medical Device industry, in various start up companies, such as: Deep Breeze, Cardio Art, etc. building mock ups, developing prototypes, jigg production, and production line improvements.

YAIR ALONI

Chairman

Yair is a seasoned entrepreneur, investor, and active Chairman of several Boards of Directors with over 30 years experience in Israeli and international startups across industries. He holds positions at ATK Ukraine, Megafil Ltd., VVT Medical Ltd., Avnan Enterprises Ltd., Biocell Ltd., Invimed Poland, Global Energy Inc., GammaCan International, Inc., and Solidimension Ltd. He has also worked in the automotive filtration industry in the USA, Australia, and Europe. Yair was been involved in the development of bio-diesel and bio-ethanol technologies. He is also an ex fighter-pilot.

DORON BIRGER

Director

Doron is a renowned executive in the MedTech sector and previously served as chairman and director of Given Imaging and CEO of Elron. Birger has extensive experience in high-stakes transactions, value creation, executive leadership, and corporate governance. He has held influential positions in companies like Medigus Ltd., Sight Diagnostics, Matricelf, Icecure Medical, Kadimastem, Pluristem, and Hera Med.

ZEEV BRANDEIS

Founder

Zeev has held executive positions in the Israeli hi-tech industry, with over 20 years of experience in product development and medical devices. Zeev is an inventor listed on several international patents within this industry. He has an extensive background in polymer science and plastic injection molding. Zeev’s academic background is in Behavioral Sciences & Business Management.es.

EITAN MACHOVER

Director

Eitan has more than 25 years of healthcare experience. He worked at GE for over 15 years in various assignments in the US, Europe and Israel. Eitan founded two medical device venture capital funds and invested in more than 20 companies. He serves as an active director on a number of private and public company boards.

YACOV REIZMAN

Director

Yacov is a founder of FCC Ltd.- an Israeli investment company, and of Boutique Merchant Bank, which was founded in 1987. FCC operates internationally, particularly within the U.S. and Israeli capital markets, and has directly and actively invested in ~50 publicly traded and privately held companies within a diversified range of industries.
